Workers from Eckman Construction have joined forces with other local contractors, designers, suppliers, and community volunteers to complete an “extreme makeover” of The Crisis Center of Central NH (CCCNH) located in Concord. This undertaking is the fifth Building on Hope project that Eckman has supported since the organization was formed in 2010. When completed in two short weeks, the new facility will provide a safe, handicap accessible emergency shelter for victims of domestic abuse. CCCNH will have 20-24 beds available, making it the largest domestic violence shelter in the state.
The Building on Hope groundbreaking event was held at the CCCNH on Friday May 11. Our team is helping create an ADA-accessible bathroom and bedroom on the main floor as part of the project. The ribbon cutting and “Reveal Party” is scheduled for May 20, 2018.
