Eckman Construction successfully delivered a state-of-the-art Athletic and Wellness Center for The Derryfield School, partnering with Cowan & Goudreau Architects in a design-build approach. This collaborative effort resulted in a 42,300 square-foot facility that seamlessly integrates modern athletic amenities with a focus on student wellness. The new center boasts three regulation-sized basketball courts, a dedicated movement studio for diverse fitness activities, a well-equipped cardio room, and a comprehensive weight training area.
Beyond the core athletic spaces, the project included thoughtfully designed boys’ and girls’ locker rooms, essential team rooms for strategic planning and preparation, and specialized training rooms for injury prevention and rehabilitation.
