Eckman Construction is proud to be the General Contractor for the Town of Derry’s new state-of-the-art fire station. This 29,500 square foot facility is being built to meet the evolving demands of the Derry Fire Department, providing them with the tools and resources necessary to effectively serve the community.
The new fire station will feature a modern dispatch center, five apparatus bays equipped with a cutting-edge vehicle exhaust system, and a dedicated decontamination room for the safety of firefighters. The facility will also include specialized turnout gear washers and extractors, ample gear storage, ten bunk rooms for on-duty personnel, enhanced security features, and dedicated training areas. These include a training tower for realistic drills and a confined space training area to prepare firefighters for challenging rescue scenarios.
