New Hampshire, the final state to receive a federal Job Corps Center, welcomed the opening of its Manchester campus in October 2015. Eckman provided general contracting services on this state-of-the-art facility, comprising of seven buildings spanning 151,600 square feet. The campus boasts modern dormitories, a vibrant recreation center, well-equipped classrooms, a spacious dining hall, and a comprehensive administration and wellness center. Overcoming significant site challenges, including the removal of substantial ledge, Eckman Construction meticulously coordinated the construction of all seven buildings to ensure timely completion.

Eckman was recognized with the prestigious 2016 Chairman’s Award from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC-NH/VT) for our performance on the NH Job Corps Center, which is a testament to the project’s exceptional quality and the dedication of our team.

Designed to serve young adults aged 16-24, the program provides a transformative pathway to success. Residents dedicate an average of eight months to achieving their high school diploma or GED while simultaneously pursuing career training in high-demand fields like hospitality, culinary arts, skilled nursing, and advanced manufacturing.
