Eckman Construction provided construction management services for the expansion and renovation of the Spaulding Academy and Family Services primary school building. The project encompassed 15,300 square feet of additions, featuring a new commercial kitchen and dining area designed to accommodate the unique dietary needs of the student population. Additionally, the project included the construction of new classrooms, innovative learning spaces, offices, and specialized treatment rooms. Eckman oversaw infrastructure upgrades which included the installation of a new leach field and implemented comprehensive electrical service enhancements to support the increased operational demands of the expanded facility.
As an institution dedicated to providing year-round, comprehensive special education services for students with emotional and behavioral disorders and neurobehavioral disorders, the expansion and renovation were crucial in enhancing the quality of education and overall well-being of the students. The new facilities provide a more conducive and supportive learning environment, that will serve the needs of Spaulding Academy and Family Services for years to come.
