Project Description
The Derryfield School hired Eckman Construction to provide full design/build services and oversee the adaptive reuse of the former gymnasium into a new Science and Innovation Center. The new facility features an X-Learning classroom, three bio/chem labs, a robotics lab, maker space, staff support space, and a mezzanine level. Three existing classrooms, located just off of the gymnasium, were renovated and converted into two physics classrooms.
The design/build team includes Cowan Goudreau Architects, Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates, and TF Moran.
