Selective demolition has begun at The Derryfield School, where Eckman Construction was hired to provide full design/build services and oversee the adaptive reuse of the former gymnasium into a new Science and Innovation Center. The project will feature three bio/chem labs, a robotics lab, maker space, staff support space, and a mezzanine level. Three existing classrooms, located just off of the gymnasium, will be renovated and converted into a physics classroom.
The design/build team includes Cowan Goudreau Architects, Fitzemeyer & Tocci Associates, and TF Moran.
This project is scheduled for completion in November of 2019.
