DOVER, NH – Groundbreaking at Dover High School Athletic Fields
Dover High School proudly marked the official start of construction on its new athletic facilities with a ceremonial groundbreaking held on Wednesday, December 3rd. Dover High Schools Student Athletes, School District Leaders, City Leaders including the Mayor and department heads, Joint Building Committee members, and engineers from Tighe & Bond participated in the event to celebrate the beginning of this project.
Project Overview
The new athletic complex will include:
- New turf for a multiuse/Football field
- New 400-meter track and equipment
- New turf baseball field
- New bleachers and field lighting
- New concessions building, storage and maintenance
These enhancements will allow Dover High School to host practices, games, and large events while improving accessibility and long-term usability for the district.
Project completion targeted for Late 2026.
